2023 Fall Design Trends

Cool weather is officially upon us. I personally love the warmth, aqua blues, and carefree spirit that summer brings, but the colors of fall are my favorite. I cannot get enough brown, burgundy, and cozy textures.

There are some fall design choices trending right now and I am HERE FOR IT.

1. Natural Materials

I am always utilizing natural materials, but this year it seems to be emphasized as a trend for fall. I'm talking REAL natural materials. Wood, stone, greenery - I actually went out in my yard and cut off branches for my coffee table.

2. Burgundy & Brown

Deep burgundy and brown can be seen this year. I love how classy it looks - unlike the typical bright orange,

red, and yellows. Don't get me wrong, there can absolutely be a place for bright fall colors, but we tend to go overboard. Toning it down with these deep tones makes it feel more cozy and calm, perfect for snuggling up with your PSL.

3. Textures

Sweater weather isn’t just for your clothes! It’s time to bring out layers and textures in your home decor. Add a cable knit throw and fuzzy pillow to your sofa. Layer the dining table with a runner, woven placements, and fun napkin rings.

4. Candles

Nothing says cozy like the warmth of a flame. Taper candles and pillar candles can make a stunning centerpiece. Have fun incorporating the natural materials aspect - like choosing a wood or iron base.
